Large Vehicle Rescue

Description

This program develops the skills needed by the rescuer to effectively mitigate an incident involving a large truck. Topics the program will cover include identification of the various types of large trucks, anatomy of the large truck, construction & technology issues and hazard control considerations. Vehicle stabilization and the use of non-traditional adjuncts are discussed. Knowledge of tools & equipment needed to perform rescue evolutions on large vehicles are covered in depth as well as hands on application of the material movement evolutions covered in the program.
