Description

This course will cover the guidelines and principles found in the PHTLS course, this program will enable the EMT certified pre-hospital care provider to be comfortable with the initial assessment of the victim of trauma. This program will also discuss the meaning of the ?Golden Hour? and ?Golden Ten Minutes?. This program will also discuss the major causes of pre-hospital death and review actual case studies to impress upon students how and why some patients expire before reaching the Trauma Center.
