Training
Continuing education is an integral part of being a member of our department. Mount Laurel EMS offers a wide array of classes in emergency response and management for members of the department and the community.
Members of Mount Laurel EMS should log in using the form on the right; nonmembers who have registered for classes before should log in using the form on the left. If you are not a member and have never registered for a class, feel free to browse; you can log in after you register for your first class.

2012 National Standard Education Model EMT Class
Objective
This course will give you the skills necessary to provide emergency medical care as a health care provider. With this training, the student will be able to obtain their EMT Certification needed for both volunteer and paid positions in the state of New Jersey. It will allow the student the opportunity to sit for the National Registry exam if desired. ICS-100, ICS-700 and LSI Awareness will also be included in this program. THIS IS THE NATIONAL STANDARD EDUCATION MODEL.
Tools
The course will be presented via lectures, practical skills, hands-on training and scenarios as well as hospital clinical experience, ambulance ride time at the BLS level, and other associated clinical experiences.
Dates
January 12, 2012 - June 21, 2012 Note: Students must attend all class sessions
Times
Monday and Thursday 6:30pm – 11:00pm; Saturday 1/14/2012, 2/11/2012, 3/10/2012, 4/7/2012, 5/5/2012 & 6/2/2012 8:00am – 5:00pm
Cost
$1500.00/person. (This program is eligible for training fund reimbursement but the cost of the EMT class testbook and related materials is not covered by the training fund. The cost for the book and materials is $150.00. This cost must be paid for by the student or the students organization.)
CPR
CPR training for all students attending this class will be provided on January 12. This will be a refresher for any student who already has "healthcare" provider CPR and new CPR training for those students who don't. All students are required to attend, even if they already have CPR certification.
